Upon checking the 69 L78 Nova body that I have, it was originally a blue deluxe bucket car, the rear sill (under the rear glass) IS definitely a flat Blue and the dash appears the same. SULLY

Looked at a ton of pictures and can not find a single example (that show up in the pictures...) of non interior color rear package tray.

I am going on the premise that it was painted the color indicated on the body tag.

Tommy, glad you dug deeper on yours.

Every deuce that I've ever worked on with the 731 blk interior has a black rear window support. Including my unrestored Yellow deuce.
I don't think it matters if it's a deluxe interior or a colored 731. If the seats, dash area, headliner are beige, or blue, or whatever, the window support area at the trunk end of the package tray will also be the same.
If the seats, dash area, headliner, are black, so will the support area.

I think we're both saying the same thing. I agree that you wouldn't get a black rear window support if the rest of the interior was colored.
I agree that if Tommy has a colored interior that the rear window support area should match the painted dash area.
