That same question came up in the old thread, and the general opinion was that is considered taboo! (ie Re-body)

$60K for a resto is nothing and I bet that car needs more than $60K to bring it back. But, the Deuce's might be bringing $100-125 by time you were done restoring it so it would probably be worth it in the long run. How many #'s matching Deuces are out there?

[/ QUOTE ]

Jeff;
There are approx. 28 Yenko Deuces with complete #'s matching drivetrains, out of 84 cars found. This number of 28 is based on personal verification of some, but is heavily based on owner honesty.

To further break it down, these 28 cars are split; 21 / 33% are 4speeds (63 found), and 7 / also 33% are a/t's.

So if a guy was to take this car and restore it, knowing that it's been heavily restored would it make it any less valuable?. Or would it be better left to the elements and say this one could'nt be saved!! I would think for being what it is, it would still be worth keeping it alive!!.

If it's restored correctly, the car's value is ok. After speaking to Schoneye, he had a good procedure on how to save this car. However, it is not for amatuers, nor would it be a cheap resto.
