I still don't see the point of the original post, clever story, but....

Anyone ever see the movie 'A Beautiful Mind'???

Seriously, I am sorry to hear someone played you like this. It is quite an intriguing story.

Marlin,
Sorry for your inability to comprehend the meaning to the post which included the word "thought", as in "think", maybe I can devise a way to re-post using picture signals so you can grasp the concept of the similarity of the unfortunate events that occoured to me as could anyone else. Even though I was not relieved of actual cash, being an accountant I would hope you can understand the concept of "opportunity cost". Six weeks of wasted time and effort as well as financial expenses could have been better spent in a more productive way. It was not a total waste however, you finally managed to make my short list should I ever be diagnosed with a terminal illness. And to think I saved you a lot of grief by not giving your phone number to the owner of the 68 Z ragtop after you spouted off the prospective selling price in public which was either a lucky guess or you heard it from the one person I mentioned it to off line who I considered a friend. Are you ever going to start minding your own affairs or is your life so boring you would have nothing to talk about. Do as you wish, just stay out of my business, for the better of all...

Yada, Yada! Same old stuff there Matty boy!

A lucky guess? You saved me grief? This supercar world is a lot smaller than you think. Don't ever make assumptions about who/what somebody else does/does not know.

If you don't like the replies that you receive, then stop posting your 'personal' business on this board.

I went racing in my Yenko this past weekend, how's that for boring?

Marlin,
Once an A$$ always an A$$. Is it comforting to know that I was standing within three feet of you a few weeks back and you were clueless.
