Does Berger still use the emblems on the new cars they sell?I've got one that has the sticky stuff on the back and one of the original ones that screw on.Both are new.

I'm originally from the Belding area and know exactly where the yard is you are talking about. I'm suprised he sold the stuff for only $60. Last time I bought something from him he charged me what a new part should have cost. Problem was I couldn't FIND a new part(was for my 88 Fiero Formula). There's some other old yards around in that area, but most are small and some may be gone now. I haven't been junkyard hunting in a LONG time. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for Berger emblems and frames.

They normally do tap the wallett well, but I guess from a common sense point of view, which they have, those emblems and frames are one of the few parts that were in that yard which had no sensible legitimate use. He was surprised anybody would want an old dealer emblem or plate frame.

I've never been fond of the guy as I grew up with him being at many of the car shows I went to with my dad. He still has a bi plane he flys around the area now and again. He's never been one to give anything away when my dad or myself wanted to buy something.

They only have the By Berger vinyl sticker on almost all their vehicles. I believe only the Camaros and Vettes get the chromed plastic stick on By Berger emblem.
