The 302 Tunnel Port engine was listed in the 1968 Mustang brochure. I believe the engine code was "G"

Pontiac tried the same thing that Ford did with their RAV 303 Trans Am engine - nothing but problems and was never raced.
Both learned that giant intake and exhaust ports on a small 5.0 litre engine leads to disaster. |
