Thanks go out to Phil for having this historic Camaro at SLS. This may be the only time this car makes it into PA for an up close and personal look. And as most people know, the SLS is one of the few shows that you can do that...BKH

We have confirmed that two "Norwood Ambassadors" will be joining us at the GM Nationals at the SLSR this year to meet and greet and Q+A. We will have a public address system with microphones for Question and Answer sessions with restorers and these guys have a good handle on a wide variety of chassis side assembly practice techniques employed during the assembly of the "F" car at Norwood. One of the ambassadors is none other than Gail Mains. Mr. Mains is one of the men pictured on the cover of the book Echoes of Norwood at body drop.
SLSR provides an excellent opportunity both Friday and Saturday for the hard core Camaro and Firebird restorer to gain first hand insight into chassis side variations and process detail. Phil thanks for the info you do a superior job in organizing GM gatherings. I went to Norwood in 2013. I wanted to thank Brian Henderson for invite to SLSR7. Stockers Shocker 1967z28 is getting lettered as we speak like it was in1967. Thank you Brian.

Yes, there will be tents once again available for the overflow parking. I am very excited to have the "Stocker Shocker" at SLS. There are a number of other first time seen cars like Skips survivor '69 Z/28. A few Norwood employee seminars, for the F body crowd, and Marlin Spotts Yenko Deuce seminars. And as always, the SLS is a 100% free event..BKH

I'm looking forward to the show and have never been to GM Carlisle. The Solid Lifter Showroom looks like an amazing part of it. I am really looking forward to it. I have been checking the weather and it's not looking the best for Saturday and just ok on Friday. This is a 5 hour ride for me. What is everybody's take on the weather and the effects on the show. I would come down and Friday and Saturday. Is the weather going to effect the show enough where it is not worth the drive?

Steve, The best cars will be displayed inside one of the buildings. As for vendors, some will have tents; others will be covered up if it's raining. Your call.
