Assuming this car stayed in the same area for it's entire life, the rear bumper still had an “Emrich” sticker on it, a reference to the original selling dealer, Emrich Chevrolet in Manchester, Pennsylvania. This is located in York County, Pa. Sal Like I said earlier this car was in his neck of the woods. </div></div> </div></div> Thanks for clearing that up Donny!

There's lots of stuff out there. Some people like to keeps some things private from z11 cars, 1100 mile 67 427 Corvette, Unrestored LS6 Convert, and some more alumn front end un end cars. In the last few days I got to see a LS 5 convert that hasn't been out since the early 90's last week. The guy is a car guy but not a high end car guy.

Lots of hidden cars. There is a Boss 429 20 minutes from me. Current owner has had it since 1974. I have never seen the car, but talked to the owner and several people that knew of the car. I found out about it at work just talking to a guy about cars. 12 minutes the other direction is a Boss 302 and a Boss 351. I did see them. They are out there

Skip's Z is simply amazing! He is REAL GOOD at finding the stuff and has the "staying power" to be able to strike when the fire is hot. Finding them is one thing; finding them and being able to buy is another thing entirely. Cars like this aren't bought in just a couple of minutes, sometimes it takes YEARS. I chased a car for 6 years, got it bought, and sold it to Skip. He is a GREAT GUY and I'd venture to say that this Z/28 will probably be at SLS, and if I had to guess, I'd say MCACN, too. I saw this car right after he got it home; dirty (in a relative term), and at that time Skip hadn't started tinkering with it yet---can't wait to see it cleaned up a little. Maybe tomorrow.

Within 1 mile of my house, 1. '70 Chevelle, looks like an SS. Astro Blue! Was sitting in a driveway, but pushed inside 10 years ago. Hasn't moved. Stuff piled all over it. 2. '69 Z/28, in a garage but hasn't moved in at least 10 years. Also stuff piled all over it. 3. some kind of drag car. always covered, can't tell definitively by the shape (may be a Nova) but I can see massive slicks & ladder bars from the road.

I know of some old cars tucked away around here too, but none in the kind of time capsule state this Z is in...that's just crazy. Hope I get a chance to see it up close someday!
