----There is an Australian guy I have met who owns several 70 LS6 El Caminos. He also has a place in Wisconsin, and I believe he spends, or at least did spend time both in Wisc. and Australia. Nice guy! Hes a close buddy of an old Corvette friend of mine......Bill S

Wayne talked about that multiple times in the past (don't know why I was under the impression it was a 70) But I remember the aluminum heads clearly. He said it was on display in a reception area. Mike has a 375 66 El Camino with a POP and it's a bucket seat/console car. Never had seen that on a non-SS El before.

Some very smart thinking here! Love reading stuff like this. Kinda like the Yenko Deuce Novas LT-1's being insured as just a 350 Nova.

There is a guy in Gothenburg Sweden who has one LS-6 El Camino and one LS-6 Chevelle. He´s had them for many years.

We did sell an authentic Black on Black all original drivetrain LS6 El Camino with 4.10s.

It ended up in a collection in Florida..........so could be the same LS6.

I have heard about a few more over here.

I remember one of the very first Swedish magazines I bought and they had a story of a GMC El Camino (Don't remember if they were called El Camino) that a dragracer had imported. It had a 454 and it was impressive, could lay down 1000ft of rubber on the street

Anders it is in Colorod No3!
