Brian, I think it was and you guys even painted it Chevy orange right there in the parking lot! Just freakin awesome and one of my coolest "car moments" EVER!
Bruce, yes the shots are cool. I remember pacing back and forth wondering if I was gonna get to race Marlin, an event that was talked about in anticipation for MONTHS in advance. I fumbled to grab my camera and shot those pics because I thought at the time, I need to capture this moment forever. As many here remember, bkh & co. got the car running and I went on to win the Deuce shootout. Just amazing.... Everybody came through during that one. It was either Charlie or Gags that threw me the keys to their Ford Taurus rental, Charlie ordered the pump and had it delivered I think, and we some how found an auto parts store. Joey Barr ran through the list and grabbed everything the guys needed to get the job done. That was truly the Yenko Sportscar Club at its best. I really miss those days....
