Agreed. But then look at the Jamaica Blue 1970 440 six pack 1970 GTX - 110K. That's silly money for a v-code b-body. Stuff was all over the place. Anybody have any ideas why that car pulled so much?

I think the 70 RR was all the money for a color change non numbers car. My Blue 68 Numbers RR brought 155+ the juice which I thought was super good money.. a guy from Minneapolis bought he could have come over a month ago and bought it for less and saved the commission and shipping. Auctions are crazy its hit and miss

Hi I'm a little late on this discussion, but I have a question about your blue 68 Hemi rr? I assume a nice numbers matching 4spd? Whats the real market number on this type of car? I like them but prices seem to be all over the map. Whats your view. Thanks in advance.

I would like to hear more about the R/T when you get it. For example, which color is on the data plate? White?

It was blue on the fender tag but the car was never painted blue, chysler painted it white for the promo use and for the parts catalogs/advertising. After they were done with it they painted it red and put it on a used carlot in Detroit. It came with old magazines it was in, Galens inspection, old title copies and I believe the first title copy, car has original engine, trans, fender tag

Andrew, you scored one helluva piece of Mopar history there. I imagine you know already but that car is the rarest six barrel ragtop ever made by the Chrysler corporation. Total production run of 16 cars. Rarer than a 71 Cuda six barrel ragtop, which they made 17 of, in total.
Wanna trade? |
