From my understanding in the early 70s if you ran a 11.99 or faster a roll bar was. Needed

Very cool stuff. I'm going to put in a quick shameless plug for my appraisal/inspection services for this particular car since Lynnwood is a quick and easy half hour drive from Seattle. I have a basic website I can be reached through as well: www.myvintageviewpoint.com
Lots of neat stuff popping up in the Pacific NW this week. One of those cool surviving black on red '69 Chevelle SS396 cars: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1423.l2649 And a very intriguing barn find '63 Max Wedge Sport Fury, 3sp, red/red, never cut and almost entirely original: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1423.l2648 Thanks, TOM BRESKE aka tom406 two-oh-six 459-1563 (sorry the ebay links usually show up clickable, these you have to cut and paste to your browser-i'm sure someone can educate me why...) |

For what it's worth, just type in the word "survivor" in your E-Bay search bar and you'll really see some terriffic, neat stuff of all brands! Just re-fill your cup o' coffee and be prepared to spend some serious time there afterwards. By the way, that survivor Max Wedge really is pretty incredible!

i think 40,000 was a good price for both parties but more for the buyer.

I agree. That was a great purchase price. I hope the new owner doesn't change anything. That car had "Don't Mess With Me" all over it!!!! Kurt

Zipped past me in the left lane at Southcenter headed toward 512 east. |
