Without the provison for the radius rod in a Jan car, I would think it was originally a 275hp 327 car (L30)???

the original owner of my 67 rs/ss told me that he brought the car back to the dealership to have the radius arm installed. it is a 12D production date.

To clarify this one, the basic result using info above is 4P/3L cowl tag cannot be original to this car?.

I have seen the list; all 25 VINs are on it. How do you think Jon Mello knows he has #1?

Supposedly only the first 16 were 4P cars. I've seen #19 and it was a 4L. Does anybody know how Jon is doing on the resto of car #1? I'd love to hear/see where he's at.

I own a nice 1967 Camaro 12 Bolt rear that has the original factory traction bar bracket, casting dated Dec.6,1966, not sure what date GM started adding the bracket.

Really, I was friends with Jon when he found the number 1 car and remember the event well and still have the emails from him explaining the whole event. It is described in the thread below and a copy of the "list" is there too. There are no vins on it. The order numbers are blurred, not the vins. Jon and I were trying to find Mo Carter's car which was also one of the first 25 and if he had the VIN it would have been easy! We had to work the known body numbers from cars already found on the list and the recieving dealers to try and guesstimate the VIN of Mo's car
