First of all, the terms "Chopped" and "Dropped" take on a new meaning here.

Not hammering on Howie with these pix because God knows we've all been victims of our own mistakes. I'm just glad that:

1. He's actually gonna get this car on the road, and

2. It didn't do any permanent damage to the car, or to the Big Dummy that owns it!







And one during the reconstruction .......



OK Howie, fill us in with the details.



And a reminder; I DO know where the dropped 'n drilled axle is.

OK what I did was use my hoist to take the body off. I chained all four corners put the hoist thru the door area.
Got the body in the air, while in the air the body rolled off the hoist on to the floor and bent the hell out it.

I now have it fixed!! The doors fit better than they did.

The body was kinda twisted. I welded the back halve to the frame. Then pulled the front area up and side ways.

Over the weekend I filled in the tail light area & cut areas for the tear drop ones
