excellent pics. Let me ask a q. I go to Carlisle.. Have not been to Hershey in many years. How is Hershey as compared to Crlisle? Hershey used to be mostly older antique stuff but it looks like its our era car now too...

I'll put it to you this way. Given the choice of going either one, for parts, I would pick Carlisle. For the car corral, I would pick Hershey.

Most of the parts vendors were selling pre-war stuff. I saw more Model A engines than ever before. Also, I didn't know there were 3 national Model A clubs. Packard cars and parts were also all over the place. There were some "newer car" parts vendors, but most were selling pre-war stuff. I didn't buy a thing, except a large root beer.

The cars offered for sale were much better than most offered at Carlisle. Believe it or not, that patina '70 El Camino had a REAL nice body and bed on it! But again, most of the offerings were pre-war cars.

Since I may be relocating to Arizona in 2010, my buddy and I decided we should do Hershey 1 time. But neither of us have any reason to return in the near future. Both of us own Chevelles, and we did a lot of walking without finding many parts, accessories, or Chevelle automobilia.

Thanks Rick - Thursday was a beautiful day at Hershey. It's raining this morning (Friday). I'm gonna wait 'till the roads dry to crank up the '67 marina/white, 427/400 Corvette and return to my car corral spots!

Arizona is full, sorry ...

awesome pics, there were 3 or 4 pics of 69 Camaros you took and only ONE of them had the SS emblem properly located in the front grille, jeesch, how hard is it to mount the emblem correctly?

is it just me or does a 70 Z28 with 73 tires on it look "off"? probably just me ...

way cool longroof:

neat 40's / 50's (?) custom:

nice variety of cars, it has been decades since I was there, went there with my dad and camped when I was a kid. Have not been there since moving to AZ 32 years ago, looks like it is worth the trip no matter where you live though.
