No matter what the price was, who cares. Great find Dave. All I ask for is a link to the utube video of it screaming down the 1/4 mile. I can't wait.

Grady and I made a trip down to Columbus to visit with The new "C O P O L O C O" Doug Perry and Dave, and to see the recent COPO discovery.
Can't wait till next spring.
Here are a few more pic's.

Check out the lightning holes in the front bumper brackets.Look how nice the gold plating is on the parking lights.

And the Sub Frame

This is cool, no C-Clip eliminator, no problem...just fab up some Tibor like brackets to keep the axle in the housing.

There are some letter's bleeding through the paint, looks kind of like gold. I think these were the original owners name ???

Original correct 69 Gas cap

Check out these next two shots. Keep in mind these are factory quarters on this car.
Looks like someone forgot some spot weld's, and then later repaired by hand ?? Both sides the same.

I am sure there will me more on this Jewelle later, thanks Doug and Dave for the tour.

Mike

Looks like the original owner did the "old trick" of making a hole in the firewall to where you can play with the distributor timing while seated in the car...

Very Cool Car!!

That car was a steal at 50k. Wish I could have made it to the auction. Had to work that weekend. My good friend was there and said there was alot of old things at auction. Great find hope to see it in person again.
