Wowwwwww..my car doesnt even compete with these cars....

The Blue RS...the #3 yellow Berger M-22 chambered exhaust car...the barnhart original owner car.....

...but I think that the Gibb # 1 car might actually bring the most.....?????

What I had heard on the 1.2 mil price was it had payment conditions that nobody is interested in meeting. Not so much the price but the conditions.

Since I just realized there are ony two yellow ZL-1's, I seem to remember when I could have bought the yellow ZL-1 for 200k...It must be the same car since I know it wasn't the Berger car....that was about 10?? years ago I think...

..not that i had the money...

...and although I'm thrilled that i was lucky enough to have bought my car back when I did..(who knew??)...but the car that got away was the #25 HO car that was in my neighborhood all my life while I was growing up. I'm still friends with the prior owner...He tried to sell the car at the time for over 100k, but eventually I could have bought it for 69k. I already had my car and the now ex-wife would have never gone for it...I believe Camaro Specialties bought the car.The values really started going up soon after he sold it.

Although it was an automaticccc...Why did Fred Gibb do thattttttttt???? ayayay..I know why...I'm just saying..

...on the column??? was it really worth the few pounds to lose the console??

The story on the original engine is somewhere in an old discussion I believe...I'd have to look.

Oh...and Charley...I'm going to buy Dave C. old yellow ZL-1 in 30 years so your job is to keep track of it for me till then!

Here's the old yellow ZL1 in central OH in the mid '70s

The guy in the black t-shirt lives in Columbus, and drove and wrenched on the car. He let me copy his old photos.

Non-original motor in a raced-as-intended ZL1 is a small price to pay and it has great history and photos.

Nice photos Andy. Thanks!
