WOW! All I can say is how much appreciation I have for the NICE cars that are left! Back when these cars were basically "used cars" not many people cared enough to pamper or protect them---hence the prices some of the REAL GOOD ONES command today. Even though I try to collect un-retored originals (have been WAY before the current craze), I will undertake a full-blown restoration if I absolutely love the car. I'm kinda to the point where my body says "BUY 'EM DONE"---my back just can't take much more.
Thanks to all for posting the pics and keep 'em comin'!!!!!!!!

He wants to see something done with it but his son has "first dibs". He said he will let me know.

Yesterday, I saw a '66 427 'Vette roadster that had "hibernating" for about 25 years. The car needs EVERYTHING, but it is all there with original K-66, Holley intake, headlights, etc. I would say it was a "sleeping" car instead of "rotting" and WILL be restored.....someday. A one-owner, 54k miles, no-hit, car.

I should have snapped some pics of my uncles 68 Camaro. It was a 327 I believe, not sure on trans. He bought it used in the 70's while in high school and started learning how to hang quarters on it but it never got finished. He passed away last summer. That car sat buried in the garage for 35 years with NOS GM fenders sitting with it.

I wouldn't mind messing with that Hornet!
