Lots of progress this weekend.

Horns restored and installed.
Rad side tanks painted gloss black, side seals installed, rad installed, top plate installed.
Inner and outer heater boxes installed.
Grilles, headlight doors, cleaned ready to install, they may be too Patina.... TBD.
Inner fenders are yet another step closer, I cleaned them again and again..
Front bumper cleaned, back side ground down and painted dull Aluminum. (I accidentally ran the 4 inch wire wheel over my wrist when it kicked back... 5K RPM had to get big bandaids at Shoppers :-( a boo boo on the dumb dumb. Not a deep cut but the outline of the grinding wheel is clear on my arm.

To me this is a lot of progress, I am still deciding if I will go back to front or front to back. (After I use the never dull and Mother’s chrome polish on the back bumper I will prep the lights mounted in the bumper and mount it.. I guess Back to front it is)

So I have a daily ritual now of cleaning my inner fenders... tomorrow they get a treatment.

I installed the grilles, headlight doors, etc, that makes quite a visual change.

I will hit my front bumper with never dull, then Mothers Chrome polish and then install it. The supports are all powdercoated and the fasteners are all restored.... I can wait to see that underbite!!!

You should always wear pants to hide the White Canadian Legs.....and to protect them

Get going on them bucket seats.....it's not good to store them folded as you have them.

Looking good

Dan

What? NO WIPER MOTOR? URGH! Which one of you Placed the Positive Battery Cable in the Wrong Location? One cannot just look at the Assembly Manual, it must also be read.

Looks Great!

I need the special bolts for the wiper motor, this will be next on the list.

I bet you a coffee the positive cable is installed correctly and installed the same as original. :-)
