The bottom line is that the Yenko Sportscar Club is truly a great bunch of people. I bet a huge number of active members/posters can read this and honestly say that they have learned more than they ever have about these cars, obtained the car of there dreams, and met the best bunch of people they ever have in this hobby right here. I know I have and I bet those guys over there have through this site as well.

You nailed it Frank!

Anyone ever watch Nanny 911 on TV ? If the baby is crying you ignore him and he goes to sleep. It's hard for the parents and sometimes they give in. But it works out best for the crying baby.

Very good post Bruce.

The funny thing is that members of the sYc have been getting bashed and bashed and have taken the route of turning the other cheek. This was good at first but has gotten old. Now it is time to set the record straight. They can invent a whole forum of bashing about us and it made a little dent but when we make one single post the effects are like an atom bomb.

When did people become so spiteful? What ever happened to people commenting on how nice a car someone has, rather than the ludicrous bashing that is going on between these two sites?

[/ QUOTE ]

Unfortunately the root cause is $.

Actually it's $$$$$ If it were only $, nobody would have the jealousy or think it worthwhile to spend the energy.

For me anyway, hanging with you guys for a couple days each September in Collinsville is a highlight of my year. My daily trips to the board let me feel like it's not so long between visits.

I can relate to Bob's problem of trying to get pictures of all the cars and keep them straight. The first year I did the CD I could manage it myself. The last two years I could never have done it without Rob's help. Do you think that Bob M. somehow got Steve's Green COPO confused with Kevin Suydam's RG Harrell COPO?

Maybe got me and Frank confused? What's the big deal, why make a federal case out of it?
(BTW; Frankie's younger, I'm better lookin!)

I'm gonna bet that a 69 COPO Camaro in "Metallic" green and a 70 Dick Harrell Camaro in "Metallic" green caused the confusion. No biggie, a just a typo. Anyone with a good set of glasses and a knowledge of Steve's collection should be able to figure that one out. Otherwise why would anyone feel it necessary to challenge the authenticity of his collection?

Steve, The person you are responding to is insignificant in our arena. It appears his sole purpose is to stir the sh!t. He never provides any sustantiated proof, just innuendos. I never met him nor has anyone else on this site. His only role is to perpetuates rumors and skepticism; even when hard facts and documentation is provided. The only thing super he owns is his imagination.

I would disregard any and all of his communications, and not give any press to his feeble attempts to discredit members of this board.

Who is "Jimmy J"? Isn't that considered being someone else?
