This Ebony 63 Savoy Max Wedge was sold new at Towne Motors in Linden NJ. In '63 the fender tag on Plymouths only shows the Max Wedge option and not if it is a low or high compression car. This car is equipped with a trunk mounted battery though which was only available on the high compression cars. Joe Bianchini had this car at the show.

This 65 Belvedere A990 is the car that Butch Leal raced in the '74 season when Chrysler boycotted Pro Stock. This isn't the same car he raced in '65. This car ran in the 9.70's right out of the gate which was unheard of in Super Stock at the time. Mike Kayrouz had this car at the show in the Class of 1965 A990 Invitational.
