Back in the '80s, I ordered a couple new Oldsmobiles as sold orders. While certainly not muscle cars, these two were unique nonetheless. A 1985 Olds Delta 88 2dr in Dk Sable Brown w/ burgundy cloth seats. And a 1988 Olds Cutlass Cruiser wagon (Ciera FWD) in Medium Charcoal Metallic w/ Saddle leather seating. The wagon had woodgrain and actually looked real good; the Delta 88 not so much. I had to write override letters to the Zone Rep, but once he signed off, the orders were accepted and the units were built.

But dark blue/fawn wasn't odd: http://chevellestuff.net/1966/exteri...rior.htm#SS396 |

Ah, OK. Well either way, it's in the rare color combo thread so I thought it was. Still looks great.

Here is the Olympic Gold 1969 Nova I had with green interior. Although the exterior was repainted to match the interior. ![]() ![]() </div></div> Anders, Can you decipher the first digit of the body number on your sheet? I'm thinking it should be a '3'?

Yes Marlin, I would say a 3.
I do not have a pic of the TT, but when I blow up the pic of the sheet it definitely looks like a 3. VIN is 114279W423619 if you can roule out a five with that info. Ha ! Found this when I put the old title back in the envelope. Sometimes making notes is a good thing. ![]()

A few years back, I passed on a 70 L78 Nova that was originally Astro Blue, with White top and light blue gut, never saw another one even remotely close to that

Interesting, our '69 Nova is an 02A car with body number WRN259193. So, it was built the prior week with about 41,000 bodies in between!!
