#98. This is ZL-1 #53 and it was sold by Robert Lyle Chevrolet in Cuyahoga Falls OH. This is an X44D80 car that was ordered with Rally wheels and an M22. This is not a numbers matching car and there were pictures of it as a tubbed race car so I'm not sure how much of the sheet metal is original to the car either. It appeared to be an older restoration.

![]() </div></div> My COPO Chevelle came from Lyle. I had heard that a ZL-1 did as well. Cool to see this car. I have been in contact with one of the salesman from the day. I should ask him about this one, probably a memorable car going through the dealership. He did not remember my car; he said the dealership had 40 high perf cars on the lot at any given time. They were catering to the guys coming home from Vietnam that had some money in their pockets and wanted to go fast. Phil Woj. My Lyle Chevrolet car: ![]() |

They may have been on the lot together, how would you pick?

#99. This is a Nickey/Thomas 427 transplant 67 Camaro SS. It was originally a 4K L78 car. I believe it still has the original block that Bill Thomas transplanted into it. It was the November 2000 Supercar feature on this site when it was owned by Mike Guarise. I believe this one is also now in Texas with the 2 Yenkos I showed previously.

#100. This is a Nickey sold L79 Malibu with some dealer installed upgrades. I believe this was advertised as a numbers matching car. It is Grotto Blue with a bright blue interior.
