I have talked to several Olds engine builders and read everything online.
Many people have been very helpful:-) This seems to be the best way to build my engine. Obviously there are so many variations but this is the only combination that fits my budget and fits the PSMCDR rules. I plan to have 9.9 to 1 static compression and 7.9 to 1 dynamic Compression and I am leaving 2 full points of compression on the table by the PSMCDR rule of stock plus 1.5 points. I wish I could dyno this engine as SBC guys have thousands of write ups to follow and SBO info has to find. Ryan

The heads are #5 1969 W31 all the way, The only change will be hardened exhaust valve seats. All the K kit items finish off the valve train.
