So no error message, no pics can't be resized, etc? What OS?

No errors and as screenshots before/after upload button.
Would pics need resizing if they load Ok individually?
No idea of what OS, listed somewhere in Settings?

I was using the Yellow format Non-Default theme, does it matter which when posting?
Somehow it's landed back in the Blue Default mode also I don't see the lower left choice to change it back so will stick here and give pic posting another go.

It does matter because all the tweaks we're doing are to the default style, which seems to be the overwhelming favorite by the members here. I shut off the Yenkotheme option for now. My guess is it'll work for you now.

Just went to try posting multiple pics but the download to site box is gone?
If images can only be posted by host provider url addresses, these die out after time unlike site loaded pics which live on.
Am I missing something?

If you click manage attachments you don't get the box with ten buttons to upload pics? Is it possibly opening in another window?

All I see now for adding pics is the box w/ the mountains which offers url additions only?
IMG code is On if that means anything?

Make sure you're in advanced, not quick reply. You can scroll down and see a manage attachments button that allows you to upload pics from your computer, phone, etc.
