I run a Centerforce dual friction clutch in my 67 Chevelle with a M20 660 case muncie and a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Very good clutch, soft pedal, and I haven't broken anything yet with about 25,000 hard street miles. I launch the car on slicks at the track at least once a month and still no issues.

We were in Ireland a few years ago and noticed that the cars, even the BMWs, were all stick shift. Dale asked her elderly great aunt if they had any cars with automatic transmissions. The answer was, "Oh, they are for invalids." Apparently, the only only ones who drove automatics were those with physical handicaps that prevented use of standards. We had quite a chuckle.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
