Trim numbers and PNT numbers for Novas

This VIN and Trim tag is off a 68 SS Chevy II I tried to buy for several years. I never did and it is pretty rough these days.

V-2 Sequoia Green exterior with a black vinyl top
05D Fourth week of May the build sheet has a date of May 31 1968

I think so Jason. I have seen vinyl top codes 1-4 in print before but not 5 or 6. 1=white, 2=black, 3=green, 4=blue. At least for 68 models anyway. Everything else on that 68 was gold so I guess the top could have been as well.

In 69, they had black, parchment, dark blue, brown and midnight green. But in 68 it was only listed as black or white. And Jason, your 2 denoted black?

I JUST BOUGHT AN NOS SET OF 4 OF THESE BASIC PO1 HUBCAPS. I AM PUTTING THEM ON E-70 14 WHITE STRIPE WIDE OVALS AND 14X7 BLACK STEELIES FOR MY WHITE 70 L78 NOVA.. SHOULD LOOK COOL.. IT WILL BE SOO UGLY IT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL!!!!
BY THE WAY MY TRIM TAG READS, 731:BLACK BENCH STANDARD INTERIOR, 10:CLASSIC WHITE, B:BLACK VINYL ROOF, 03-A:BUILD DATE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH....
