All I can say is that I had the opportunity to meet John in person several years ago at the Cleveland Autorama.. I thought he was a very nice, down to earth and friendly guy. This was just a one on one meeting with nobody else around. I think sometimes celebs. act differently when they are around a lot of people. But he was just like "one of the guys" and I got to chat with him for a while.

He was still a very nice guy. I think he stopped for 10 photo ops with people in the audience within about 8 feet...definitely an approachable guy!

I thought it was pretty cool that he went and tried to encourage the bidders and was out there shakin hands and signing autographs, it look to me like he was having a good time.

The song and actual auction of the car aside (very BJ circus like);

I found him to be a really really nice guy. And he was having a coffee when we were side stage talking to him earlier in the day.

Super nice guy !! He was drinking coffee up in the skybox after the car went threw and was drinking water before that.
He seems to be a real energenic person but drunk I didnt see that !!
