Tom, your pm box is full.
There is a very good editorial in todays Quad city times by former Republican congressman Jim Leach of Ia. If you are a GOP leaning person, I would recommend it.

Read this online and noticed the quote by Edwards in another article...The corporations, he said, will not negotiate their power away. “They’ll give their power away when we take it away.”

Seems to me we have gone to war to prevent leaders from doing things like he prescribes

Karen was suppsed to take an early morning flight today...i expect you to meet her with a motorcade at the airport...hotrod cars of course

Bet she had a rough ride today. We got about 6in of snow today. Cedar Rapids had more.
Without being political, more of an observation, I think it's to close to call on the Democrat side. I think any of the top three could win. Hillary is really pulling out all the stops, which may be why Karen is coming in to help.
The situation in Pakistan may give her a helpful bump, but Edwards has a great deal of organized labor backing, and Obama has the youth , and change vote. It is quite interesting.
I believe Huckabee has a lock on the GOP side. Western Ia. is pretty conservative, and the evangelicals pack the caucuses. It will be interesting to see if Mcain has any resurgence in Ia. I think he will in NH.
Again, all observation.
If she gets in the Davenport area, have her give me a shout. I haven't comitted yet, so for a nice dinner out, I could be persuaded. Ain't politics wonderful.

It's gonna be all about who's the second choice in Iowa.
That's the tell of the tape.
