Phil, Thanks for the heads up. I don't think BJ is a good place to be a buyer this year for the Boss 9's. Last year they sold for world record prices and I'm sure they will aproach those levels this year. Ford was a big sponsor last year and will be again in January.

The car is for my wife..I bought her a Grabber Green Mach 1 a couple of years ago and then sold it. She misses that car and since she puts up me she reserves an upgrade.

Jeff, The boss 429 engine was only available in Mustangs except for 2 Cougars that were built.

Lots of car for the money...never had a Ferd...this is tempting.

Great looking car Don. I've finally come to the conclusion that I really like green and Grabber is one of the best. Hey Belair, I've been told that playing the field can be fun. You don't have to keep her if you don't like her.

They have one of these in the latest Hemmings Muscle car mag. Very cool car...like others have stated, a lot of car for the $$.
I didn't know they used a Quadrajet carb...

Good luck with the sale!

Mike

The original article on the car said the reason they used the quadrajet was because it was the only way to get the engine to pass emissions for 1970. The 429 has 11.3 compression
