No. An L72 was an L72, regardless of what trans was behind it, solids and 425 hp. I think that story got started because of an ad Yenko ran in 67 when they were still doing transplants, listing the auto at 410 hp with hydraulics.

Joe,I have been a witness to Robs driving.Sometimes bad fast,sometimes needs an alarm clock on the tree
   .Sorry Rob you know what I'm talking about.Enough of the trash talk lets get some races matched up right now.If I still have our car at SCR11 I'm in for a race.Don't beat me up to bad as it's only a 396 4-spd Nova.I wanted to bring it last year but didn't want to make a fool of myself.This next year already have plans to go to US-131 Motorsports Park for a little test-and-tune.
