Here is the original NHRA logo, as seen on early "Membership Manuals" and associated paperwork, after the NHRA was incorporated on March 8 of '51...notice the "Dedicated to Safety" wording is *above* the car:

Similar to yours I had from mid seventies - ![]() - - This is an engine turned from the mid seventies - - ![]() - - One from the eighties - - ![]() - - Here's another question, why do some have the copyright symbol and some the registered symbol? - - ![]() - - And when did they change the member patch?? - - ![]() -
