[ QUOTE ] TYhanks for Posting Tom...........Cumby??? Ken ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Yes sir, I'm here. We'll have some next week! ![]() Tom, Where was this show? It amazes me at the cool stuff that shows up for these grass roots gatherings. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Mammoth Spring, AR, which is on the AR/MO state line, about 15 miles South of Alton and about 1/4 mile from our funeral home in MS. They have it at a state Park, which surronds a large spring, ducks, geese, etc, a very nice setting. Part of an all day event, where they celebrate the idea of the Grand Old Oprey, which came about when George D. Haye, a newspaper man, was in town to cover the funeral of war hero, staying long enough to witness an old time "hoe down". We used to never miss it this, but once we started hosting the SCR on Labor day, had to take a rain check. Was good to spend the day with friends and cars. Mo and I even got to talk on the radio, once firing the FC while they were "live".
