I though 150 MPH speedo's were 70 only, maybe I'm wrong.

71 had the 150 mph speedo too.

Looks like the same colour as my 71 I sold in 77.

Thanx, I looked an LA built 4 speed datona yello 70 or 71 Z28 basket case a couple of weeks ago, with low back seats (70) and a 10 bolt (not 70). I decided it was a 70 because of the 150mph speedo and 8K tach, so maybe it was a 71 afterall. All the owner knew was that it was worth at least $1800 because someone in florida offerd that to him for the vin and Trim tags. he even said I could come get the rest of the car for free after he sold the pedigree. Suffice to say I didn't tell him how to find a build sheet.
My little thread-jack here is not about the 71 Z28 project car from the start of this thread, just to clarify.
