Yeah he and Schrader have screwed Jon Woods out of another race. Bill retire and stay retired. You were great but now it's someone else's turn

it's all about the sponsers money and the car must be in the show. if million dollar Bill didnt have the past-champions provisionals he'd be home on the couch with Jarrett and Waltrip.

Reminds me of all the Mariner fans here in Seattle who boo A-Rod when he comes up to bat. They boo because he took 252 million to leave Seattle and play for the Rangers and he's now a Yankee. During the Mariners-Yankees game last Sunday I told my daughter that there isn't one person in the stadium who wouldn't have done EXACTLY what A-Rod did yet they still boo him. There isn't a guy on this forum who wouldn't do just exactly what Elliott did: take the cash and race.

DE (the man), once said "don't worry about the booing, it's when the fans make no noise at all when you're introduced, that's when you worry"

bottom line is if this is a nascar rule than you really cant blame bill. plus, i'll guarantee you Bill doesn't use all 6 provisionals like DJ did.

I think your right, MWR just can't get any real speed from those Toyotas. But the Woods Bros. will make the next 6 races for sure and they can market the team and Wild Bill to get them a little more exposure. I would love to see that team run well again, and I don't care who drives. |
