Price lowered to $12,500 - this is a sweet deal for a numbers matching big block!

Can you post some pics of the numbers stampings on that engine block? You posted a pic of the pad in your ebay ad, but you can't see the numbers! Also, it would be good to verify that the trans and rear are the correct #'s as well.

That Florida sea spray did a number on that poor body

Yes - I will try to get a clear picture of the Vin stamp and I will be getting the car in the air tomorrow to verify rear and trans. For the most part the rust is in the typical areas for these novas but I cannot believe the hood and decklid - thats strange.....my first Florida car!

Verified a few things, heads are 290 heads with a date code of E 1 70, original block is dated E 20 70. Rear is a CBS 3.31 posi - seems correct and I could not view all of the muncie code but I got as far as P0--- exhaust was blocking my view until i get it off the trailer and up in the air a bit. Everything looks to be original, thanks

Got the pics yet? The pic of the engine pad makes it look like there is nothing stamped there at all! The rear code sounds promising, but still need pics to verify.

I have been trying to get a clear one with my camera - but no luck, I will try to use my wifes camera tonight or maybe have her help me with that. If it works out I will have to have someone help me post them. I assure you the CTX suffix and the VIN are all there.
Thanks
mike

Wish I could keep both of these babies - be fun to see finished!!
I got my wife to help me last night but was unable to get them uploaded last night - I think they are readable on camera - I will try to load up today at lunch time.
Thanks
Mike
