James...if you look at a few of his pics...it looks like the orange is around the tranny tunnel...under the padding for the carpeting...if that makes sense?

As far as I know that is the original color. I had some minor dings fixed, and my body man thought that was the original color. If you look on the underside of the trunk deck lid behind some of the panels it is orange in there too. I was "told" that is was raced quite a bit and that may account for the different color.

I talked briefly to Dick Guldstrand from Dana Chevrolet and he said that would not be surprising for a special order car coming through his dealer ship with a paint code delete. Obviously he does not remember the car though.

If I am not mistaken Kevin S has a 68 Dana Camaro that is a -- paint code "hugger orange" as well.
Used to be Milts car...
