My labor union unloads the Mazdas in Tacoma,WA (as well as other brands) I have been aboard those multi decked packed in car ships many time driving the cars off.....Even with misc strapping holding the cars from movng fore and aft.....
in the ships current position, it surely must be a mess inside that ship........

It was the Chrylser Norseman showcar that was lost in the Andrea Doria. [/ QUOTE ] That's it....the Norseman! . I remember it had a funky roof and no A Pillars. . Wasn't there more special cars onboard too? . Should've remembered that Norseman name being the same as the bush plane....using that old aluminum cookware gets me again? . ~ Pete

The Chrysler Turbine prototype was also lost. It had a sort of Batman-like tailpipe coming out the back, for the turbines exhuast.
