John if Rich or Don do not have the time I am not far from there and I know these cars “Real Well” I have owned a bunch of them. I have a 26,000 mile Grey w Silver gut 81 Z/28 stashed in a friends barn in Canada. I think they are gorgeous looking cars but seriously under powered. We have the technology to fix that problem.

Hi Jeff, different car. The guy from AC won't budge. This is a nice original car though.

So what can i do to quicken it a bit that i can change back and not lose its originality.?

Just change out to a new crate motor (ZZ383) and stash the original and all the smog stuff in the corner. '80 was a good year, '81 got the computer.
