[ QUOTE ]
I'm showing Tachometer part #6412293 for your application. [/ QUOTE ] That's one of the ones in my parts book. Sometimes they don't hit that stamp square on and parts of a number may not be what they seem. There are 2 possibilities. It just depends on if it had transistor ignition. #6412236- (396, 409)(H/Per., Sp. H/Per., w/4-SPD.)(exc.T/Ign.) #6412293- (4-SPD. w/T. Ign.)(H/Per., Sp. H/Per.) (396, 409) It would help to see a picture of the part number to see how evenly it was stamped.
