Just to at fuel to the fire... more evidence against the car is the location. Not many Motion cars ventured far past the East Coast...

What are you intentions with the car? I hope for you it is that would be great. Rich. [/ QUOTE ] Rich, absolutely no offense indended, but I just had to laugh when I read that. Starting to treat special cars as if they were our daughters, aren't we? Reminded me of the document I had a few years ago entitled "Application for Permission to Date My Daughter". First two guys that wanted to take my daughter out, had to come to the house and fill it out. Will try and dig it up so I can post it. Good for a laugh. Lynn |

A rusted out 67 ain't worth much ...unless something iron clad pops up indicating it was done from Baldwin/Motion or something similar.

and it has an extra set of holes drilled in the rear panel, it looks like maybe a motion emblem was once located there. [/ QUOTE ] My 67 had extra holes in the tail panel as well. The 2 holes left of the filler was the dealership metal badge and the 2 to the right was the old AAA metal badge. Of course I filled them all in when I restored the car. Motion?? Doubt it. From the sounds of it it would probably make an interesting flower planter. Rick H. |
