We've been onto this car for years, and Steve got it done last Wed. morning! What an awesome car, a true time capsule. Original owner, original paint, original drivetrain, POP, inventory sheet, etc... Gus wouldn't let me lift the cover until Steve got there, but once it was out of the trailer I pulled the back seat out looking for the broadcast sheets

Moses is an absolute wealth of info, and I've been soaking up his history lessons for several years now. Moses is also quite an accomplished scratch golfer, and was also a professional baseball player in his younger days. The Yenko Deuce was popular with African-Americans, no fewer than 4 (possibly 6) purchased them new. It has been a pleasure getting to know yet another original deuce owner.

As we were unloading the convention center Sat. evening, I noticed a man with a ziplock baggie and a pic of a Nova's front-end. I inquired, and knew who it was immediately. It was the original owner of a Silver deuce that was totalled in '73-4 in southern IL. We spoke for quite a while, and when we do the info exchange thing, I'll post the pics of his Deuce - he only owned it for 4 months, but retains the paperwork, a lesson for those hunting for their original paperwork! BTW, it had whitewalls when new - but received GoodYear Polyglas' within the first 100 miles, along with other speed parts.

Somebody needs to go back to Sunday School, Moses was not with the Ark - that would be Noah. Moses is indeed in the account of the 'burning bush', 10 Commandments, 40 years of wandering, etc... Here's your trivia question: What is significant about Enoch? One of only two people to be known for this?

Enoch had a son named Methuselah, the longest living man in the Bible, and he in turn had a son named Lamech. It's intriguing and curious because this Lamech, like Enoch, was the second person to have this same name. The first Lamech was in the line of Cain, and would likely have been contemporary with Enoch#2. The situation begs the question: Why would anyone choose to copy the name of a murderer or the son of a murderer?

Just these two in the generations leading to Noah! Though many names appear similar, ONLY these two (Enoch & Lamech) are exactly alike.

Incredible story Kudos to Steve for having the great idea and good fortune of being able to bring the original owner along to the show....

My congratulations too Steve. And again; it couldn't have found a better home or fallen into the hands of a finer gentleman. Thanks for all you do for so many people.
Good to see you again.
