He got the ZL1 clone to go 10.87 @ 130 on the stickey tires before he loaded up for home.

Any idea what his times were on the Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Best for the orange car at SCR8 on G70 x 14 Polyglas was 11.42 @ 128. The old Firestone slicks are 2" larger in diameter than the polys and made for less overall gearing. That, and a bit more rubber on the ground. At SCR7 Terrys' Camaro went 11.13 two runs in a row on the polys. It went 11.06 / 127 at the Year One event in Atlanta earlier this year on G70x14 white letters.

[excuse] He turned the wick up on the aluminum engine this year to well over 700hp through the exhaust manifolds and it's a bit harder to stick the tires now.[/excuse]

He'll probably go to a 3.73 or 3.90 gear to kill some of the low end cause it's a bit tough to keep the tires from spinning through first and second gear the way it is.
