My vote is for Hugger Orange too...perhaps the BEST color for a '69 Z/28.When I decided to change mine from Frost Green (59-59),I would have painted it Hugger Orange in a heartbeat except for the fact that my '70 Z/28 is that color.Besides,I always wanted a Yellow '69 so I decided to paint it 2003 Z06 Millenium Yellow w/Blk stripes and it makes me smile everytime I look at it.

Silver grille looks fantastic, especially with the surround painted body color. Are you going with the endura bumper or a chrome one?

Good luck with the project!

John

Sam,
Just because someone else painted it maroon doesn't mean your choices are limited to maroon or the original color. (even though you're used to it). Your choice now is either "any color" or the original color. It's your car - it's up to you.
You plan to keep it forever, so you don't need a lecture about which choice would make it worth more in the long run....

Enjoy the car!

car--Hugger Orange is a Classic combo, but if you want a different color for that '69Z---Pick a color from the '69 period --JMO X 10

A total no-brainer question if there ever was one. Original Orange.
