Firebird-fresh in from Kansas...going to go terrorize the streets of Peoria and Speedworld Raceway. Oh yea, Vinnie was there with his Dukes of Hazzard Charger (in the background)

Notice the two large nitrous bottles

This house is two blocks from me...It was hit by lightning about 4 days ago during one of many monsoon storms we've had recently...The house was just completed a week and a half ago, and the owners were about ready to move in...not now!!!

Where the lightning actually hit...notice the windows

Lightning is no fun. This is the tree right next to my garage. It was hit by lightning last week. It took a 4-inch section of wood and bark off from the top at 45 feet, all the way to the bottom. Very scary. I guess it was God's way of telling me I should drive my cars more often and not just leave them sitting in a garage all the time!

GS455 Buick

[/ QUOTE ]

Spoke to the owner of this car - very nice fellow. This is one bad beast. He is quite the Buick freak and knows how to build and dial these cars in. He runs this car with some regularity at the strip. He reports that the car has dipped into the TENS! Sounds very nice when its running.

BTW, the green '70 442 convertible, 4 speed that Bruce mentions/shows above, belongs to a friend of mine who wants to sell it. I told him I wld circulate it for him at the local car show (such a sacrifice on my part ). Car was frame off restored locally 18 mos. ago and 1400 miles ago. Numbers matching block, M21. She drives beautifully and pulls nicely and never overheated in a 1.5 hr round trip in 100+ temps.

Offers considered in mid $40's.

Thanks,
Sam
