Gotta go with the Hemi Dart. I got to ride along on a run in the early 70s. It did 10.5----130 mph.
Then I had to go back to my L-48 Nova.......hehehe... ktownkid

[/ QUOTE ] correct me if I'm wrong but weren't they also delivered to the "special" people honored enough to get one with a hydraulic street hemi cam?? I can swear I remember reading that.. And the owner (usually a drag racer like Sox and Martin..etc) would build, balance and blueprint the engine to their specs ?

I agree with the B/M L-88/ZLX cars as far as BadA$$ and mean but they're look is too wild for me. I've always been partial to the sleeper look.
My vote: the '68 Gibb Harrell 427 and the '69 Yenko and Dana Novas!
