From the close-up I did on the clutch disc
you recieved with the trans, I would sat it is a B-W T-10.

It looks like the disc is a 10 spline (correct me if I'm wrong),
& the ST-10 should be a 26 spline.

The geartoth-angle is the same as in an M-22, and it has a 26-spline input shaft.

I could be wrong but the angle of the gears that you posted the picture of do not look like M22 gears to me!M22 gears are not cut at that much of an angle. The gears you are showing look different somehow, looks maybe like they have been modified or something but don't look like M22's to me.The 26 spline shaft is a super T10 and the side cover is a borg warner, are there any grooves on the input shaft.A M22 has no grooves on it.I do not believe a set of M22 gears will work in a borg warner trans! You are showing a borgwarner trans in the picture!

From all the pictures you've posted, you have a 2.43 S series ST-10, not a Muncie at all... M-22 gears have a staighter gear angle, but not perfectly staight across...
Yes I have heard of a crash box, I have several in stock... Along with over 100 Muncie cores, over 50 ST-10 cores, 10,or 12 Nash 5-speed crash boxes, and over 300 Hurst shifters...
As for my name, I had a bad run of luck with people hitting and crashing my cars... I lost track after 20 accidents, not counting the one in Mexico... Crash

I didn´t say it had M-22 gears in it.
Can someone post a picture of M-22 gears ?

From "Corvette by the numbers" by Alan L. Colvin:
"The Borg-Warner T10 4-speed was introduced in the Camaro and Corvette in January 1974." "By 1974, the muscle car era was basically over, and General motors decided to outsource transmissions for those few models that still needed a high performance gearbox." "This version is considered the sixth, or final, design, and is more commonly known as the Second Design Super T10." "The Borg-Warner 4-speed offered two new gear ratios, a low wide 2,64:1 and low close ratio of 2,43:1"

This one is 2,43:1 close ratio built in 1975 with a Norwood VIN on it.
What does that first #2 designate ?
