Dag nabbit! I guess I need to brush up on my Muncie-speak. Forgot that June is "H" in Muncie. So intuititive - don't now how I forgot. I foolishly thot 'H" was August!

Now that is just-in-time supply system (tranny assembled 7 June - car assembly started the very next week!) Thanks GTO DON!

I now have confirmed that although I have a date code correct Muncie, it is not original to this car.

Nonetheless, I could not resist her and had to bring her home today...

Rick,

Thanks. I was looking for a project. Will drive it for a while, then I will do a frame off restoration to bring her back to her former glory. Took my wife for a ride last evening and she turned to me and said she had never had a ride in a convertible before! I guess I got to let her out more. Original owners are right here in town to fill in the car's history.

Sam
