I'll second the motion that Rusty doesn't get the credit he deserves. In 1983 Rusty appeared at the national convention for the Late Great Chevy Association in St. Charles, Ill. with the world's first restored '63 Z-11 Impala, and just to have a nice pair, next to it was a '62 Belair Sport Coupe with aluminum front end and add-on Z-11 top end. That was when I first met him. I was visiting his "warehouse" once and saw the ZL-1. I remember him saying he was probably going to sell it. He had the Chevelle there then too. I think that was my first visit to his place. He was still finishing the aluminum nose '62 race car. Trust me, regardless of his variety of accomplishments, his heart is in '62 409s.

I spoke with Jay a few weeks ago. I have a 69 Z28 he restored 18 years ago. He is now in Southern Ca.

I own Rusty's old Y Chevelle...he loves heater delete !!!seeing his Nassaus Blue 62 Belair was the reason I looked for a Nassau blue on for myself...

Here is an article from Super Chevy April -84. It´s a COPO 9561 restored by Jay. Sold new in Cincinatti by Queen city Chevrolet.
