Very cool...its very fortunate the car ended up in the hands of someone who had a clue what it was and didn't turn it into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle parade vehicle or something...

Here is a close up of the face. The character's name is Lord Tyler. I have no clue as to why.
Keep in mind that this is a ZL-2 hood, and the center ridge runs right thru the middle of his face. How anyone can paint on a curved surface and make it look flat is incredible. The camera can never do it justice.

Sort of reminds me of the Frank Frazetta stuff from the 60s and 70s. very nice work, but i think i'd prefer it better on canvas instead of my COPO hood... It makes some very cool wall art though!

Hey, cool piece...I would put it back on the car. Talk about seperating it from the other COPOs.

No truck, no trailer, and no idea what kind of paint he used or how it reacts to high temperature.
If anyone with an extra space on their trailer happens to be passing through Columbus on their way to SCR8, let me know.

Incredible as it may sound, they gave the car away with a value of $10 bucks. My stepson paid $2500 in taxes based on an appraised value of $12K.
God I love this country.

I think the guy that started the Ninja Turtles supported some local Massachusetts motocrossers many years ago. I never knew the guys name, but I remember people saying that he had too much money.
