Sam

I know that old ladies fall prey to male mechanics with their own agenda, one of which may include pulling parts for their own car and replacing with junk.

Not actually knowing anything other than what I was told, I would hope something along these lines is true and will explain any descrepencies.

I would know very little of verifying this car on sight, even if I was afford the opportunity. We were there to look at rare Pontiacs, and my mind was pre occupied with seeing more round port cars than I could count. We will try to get back in with intent of inspecting this Camaro.

Gary talked to the owner today and emailed me this, so it's looking better.

steve, as for bills car, when he got it, it had the original 14" rallyes on it but had all flat tires. he put these on it to roll it to the shop. the clutch fan went bad and he put that on their to keep it running (which he really used to come down and start it about once every 3 months or so). he has the original carb off of it to rebuild it and it is the original intake that is on it. it also has shoulder harness harness belts which is one of supposedly around 100 made total. it is also a - - paint code car because it was ordered stripe delete. the paint and interior is all original as is the numbers matching 375 hp engine and turbo 400 transmission. bill said he will go down one day this week and i will take a digital camera and take a bunch of pics. gary
